Contract Associate Recruiter

About the role: As an associate recruiter you will play a crucial role in building a talented and dynamic team. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand the technical needs of the company. You will actively source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events, while also screening resumes and conducting initial interviews to identify top talent. Given the fast-paced environment of startups, they must be adaptable and proactive, managing the recruitment process efficiently to help the company scale rapidly while maintaining a strong cultural fit. Their role often extends to assisting with onboarding and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires into the startup’s innovative and evolving work culture. This will be a part-time role. You will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager. 

• Screen, schedule, and interview candidates
•  Source candidates via LinkedIn
• Manage calendars and send out confirmation/follow-up emails to candidates
• Maintain and document candidate communication within the recruiting ATS
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• 2-3 years working in a professional setting as either a recruiter
• Very strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Able to source and conduct phone screens for candidates
• Knowledge of various technical positions (e.g., software developers, data scientists) and the skills required for each role is crucial
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking System’s
