Driver Recruiting Assistant

Job Summary

Background Investigator assists the Recruiting Department in reviewing all driver files for DOT and Hogan compliance. This position is also responsible for providing administrative support to the Processing Team throughout the driver onboarding process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Reviews all completed driver files for accuracy and thoroughness.
• Supports Recruiters in all efforts related to the recruitment and retention of drivers.
• Verifies, and maintains personnel and safety related documentation.
• Follows up with recruiters and processors to ensure all required paperwork and documentation is provided to the company in a timely manner.
• Gather personnel or safety records from other departments as needed.
• Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.
• Maintains and organizes driver files.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required, Associates degree preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft products including Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
• Compliance and DOT knowledge, preferred.
