The Senior Manager, Sales Operations will be responsible for overseeing several important functions inside Dun & Bradstreet’s Public Sector Business Unit. This role will manage a team of Sales Coordinators, administer Salesforce.com, and enable timely and accurate forecasting by Public Sector leadership. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical skills, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities to drive success in this role.


Essential Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of Sales Operations Coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Develop and implement sales operations strategies that align with company and business unit goals.
  • Work with back office and finance teams to problem solve and ensure the timely and smooth order implementation and post sales operational excellence.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all new business and renewal orders through D&B’s back-office systems.
  • Manage and maintain the Public Sector Salesforce.com team forecasting tools, ensuring data integrity and system functionality.
  • Collaborate with Finance partner to develop Pipeline reporting.
  • Leverage Sales reporting to inform and deliver guidance to leadership through business insights and perspective to drive results; Develop and refine forecasting models to provide accurate sales projections and insights.
  • Integrate with D&B Corporate Sales Ops team to ensure we are aligned and informed on all Sales Operations and SFDC policies and technology integrations.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging professional growth and development.


Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required with 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Master's degree preferred


Additional Skills and/or Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, forecasting, and Salesforce.com administration.
  • Proven experience managing a small team, with strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, including administration, reporting, and forecasting. Salesforce.com Administrator Certification preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work physically onsite at the Vienna, Virginia office 1-2 days each week, and on an ad hoc basis beyond that.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and other data and management tools.
