Job Description

Dynatrace is looking for a Learning Management Systems (LMS) Support Engineer for the LMS Operations team. As a Learning Management Systems Support Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and effective utilization of the organization’s learning management system. Your responsibilities will span from technical administration to user support.

Responsibilities: 

  • Administer and manage cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Develop, update, and maintain CloudFormation templates or similar deployment automation scripts to automate the provisioning and deployment of infrastructure.
  • Oversee the administration of our Learning Management System (LMS), including user management, content delivery, and system updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud automation, using logs and observability tools to diagnose and rectify problems promptly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to interacting with the LMS system
  • Transfer incoming support tickets to the appropriate teams
  • Collaborate with LMS Engineering R&D to further drive end-user experience
  • Utilize the observability platform (Dynatrace) for operational tasks

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in focused on technology (i.e., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems) or relevant work experience required.
  • Minimum experience of 5 years working in a similar role. 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience in cloud administration with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform; or configuration management solutions such as Ansible.
  • Strong experience in administering and managing a Learning Management System.
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot cloud automation issues through log analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in working with cross functional teams
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, engaging peers and other departments to accomplish assigned goals, and effectively execute projects in a matrix environment.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Google Cloud Certified).
  • Prior experience in a DevOps environment or DevOps Site Reliability.  
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Slack, and Zendesk or equivalent systems.
  • Prior Experience with the Dynatrace Platform is a plus.

Travel Requirements

  • 25% or less travel required

Additional Information

DOE, annual salary is $82,000 - $103,000 plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401k, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience, education and location.
