Overview

Under the guidance of the Director of Learning & Development, the role of Learning & Development Administrative Support is to assist with the standardization, collection, organization, and distribution of data, records, documentation, information, etc. for the department. Specifically, this role will deal with statistical representations (pie charts) of the number of Trainees, the percentage of increase in knowledge (bar charts), the scope of training delivery as it relates to expected timelines and compiling additional information in PowerPoint (or other applications) for the Manufacturing Skills Training Steering Committee and Executive Steering Team. In addition, the incumbent will run T&A reports, maintain Training Form documents and database(s), input completions of training and corporate learning to existing software, and assist with the application, collection, and submission of training for the purpose of reimbursement.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Schedules, collects notes, and creates meeting minutes for all Learning & Development regularly scheduled meetings 
  • Learns and utilizes numerous software for the proper recording and reporting of training data
  • Receives, compiles, and visually represents training data from each Manufacturing Skills Training curriculum
  • Creates Training Forms for all East Penn via Change Requests and their approval process
  • Positively represents and stays aligned with Learning & Development for the purpose of delivering the best training experience for the End-User, our employees
  • Monitors, scans, and archives Training Forms for Manufacturing Skills Training for:
    • Final progression and pay purposes
    • Proper use
    • Review and timely completion
  • Performs and is flexible to learn new and miscellaneous, job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 -5 years’ experience working in a support role/ department/ process area is preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an ever-changing, high-pressure, tight-deadline environment. 
  • Familiarity with and appreciation of the purpose and value of training.

Skills & Competencies

  • Intermediate to Advanced computer skills, especially, Excel/ PowerPoint/ Outlook
  • Attention to detail with an eye to meeting deadlines under pressure
  • Collect, compile, and verify data to show valid conclusions
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting
  • Excellent employee relationship skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
