It’s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach oursThe Marketing Intern will work with product managers responsible for miniature circuit breakers and enclosures used in residential, light commercial, and industrial applications. The Summer Intern will help plan our Contractor Council, which is an annual Voice of the Customer event, and will lay the groundwork for Product Roadmap and Waterline.Essential FunctionsWhen we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we- as individuals and as a company – are stronger. In this role, you will:• Contribute to Contractor Council, Roadmap, Waterline, and Profit Plan• Develop business cases for new products, programs, and services and pitch them to management for circuit breaker projects• Manage alpha and beta testing programs for several new products in various stages of design and release• Write support literature for new and existing products, such as technical documents, instruction leaflets, and other marketing documentation• Actively coordinate with multiple across the business on new product development and product line support as needed• Respond to sales and customer requests for information as neededQualificationsBasic Qualifications:• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships• Aptitude for supporting multiple projects simultaneously• Excellent presentation skills and public speaking experience• At least three years of leadership/manager of people• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited institution• Master’s Degree in Business or Engineering• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and experience working with electrical equipmentPosition Criteria• Excellent interpersonal communication and planning skills• Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a matrix environment• Broad business acumen, ability to develop and manage execution-based plans• Demonstrated ability to deal with large amounts of data, manage as needed and consolidate and report critical summaries of the data• Ability to influence outside of a direct reporting relationship and leverage resources• Evidence of leadership skills with the ability to develop strong relationships, align with regional business goals, think strategically, adapt to change and develop strategies are critical to this role• Professional presence and ability to manage without direct reporting relationship• Excellent analytical skills and ability to leverage spreadsheet and database tools to deliver resultsAdditional Details• Travel: 10% , possibly international requiring a passport• Is remote work allowed for this position: Yes, however a hybrid remote/in-office schedule is preferred.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
