Eaton is seeking a Manager, Strategic Communications who will play a pivotal role in orchestrating a range of communications aimed at informing and inspiring the company's key stakeholders. This position has eligibility to be a remote position if candidate is not located within a 50 mile radius of our North American headquarters in Beachwood, OH. The selected candidate must be based in the... continental United States in central or eastern time zones. If candidate is located within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH this position will be a hybrid role.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year.

What will you do?
This role involves crafting and executing targeted communication strategies for various stakeholders, evaluating their impact, and providing broad communications support for select Eaton functions, including Legal, Public Affairs and Community Affairs.
The Manager, Strategic Communications:
• Creates engaging and persuasive content that spans a variety of formats, including presentations, media and video scripts, blogs, speeches, and social media posts on behalf of Eaton leaders.
• Collaborates with corporate functions to elevate awareness of Eaton's role in accelerating the energy transition, improving the environment and the communities where we operate and creating a positive impact on society.
• Produces newsletters, leads strategic communication planning, creates content that supports functional leaders and their broader teams.
• Provides counsel on the strategic utilization of internal channels: digital displays, the intranet news site, Eaton's Viva Engage channels, and Office 365 tools.
• Oversees a digital library of executive biographies and maintains the leadership pages on its website.
What will make you successful?
The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in Journalism, Communications, Marketing Communications, or a related Public Relations role. They should be a skilled content creator capable of crafting compelling messages across various formats and channels. Strong research skills and exceptional attention to detail are essential. The ability to manage and successfully execute multiple projects simultaneously with a demonstrated accountability for outcomes is required. A thorough understanding of multichannel strategy execution is expected.
The ideal candidate will enjoy collaborative work while also being able to drive projects independently and meet tight deadlines. Creativity, a passion for developing new programs and initiatives, a continuous improvement mindset and a dedication to learning is crucial for success in this role.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Journalism, Communications, Marketing Communications or Public Relations related role.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• This position will require 25% travel.
