ECC is hiring a Site Superintendent / SSHO - Fuels for project sites in the US and/or overseas for liquid fuels maintenance (LFM) repairs to Department of Defense (DoD) Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) facilities. This position will support ECC’s fuels group. Successful candidate will work at Wake Island starting in summer 2025 for approximately one year on island assignment. This position may require travel up to 90% of the time to project sites, including international project locations. Due to the travel requirements, the candidate can live in any US location. This exciting position will ultimately see you working at Wake Island starting in summer 2025 for around a year, and the best part is, you can live anywhere in the US! Expect to be on the move a lot, with travel up to 90% for both domestic and international project sites. You’ll collaborate closely with the project team, Health and Safety Officer, and Quality Control Officer, ensuring all tasks are prioritized effectively while adhering to health, safety, and quality standards. As a key player in the field, you’ll implement operational strategies, assist with general labor tasks under the supervision of the Project Manager, and tackle logistical challenges head-on to help meet project objectives. Your expertise will also be essential in identifying and operating task-specific equipment, leading team efforts, and maintaining compliance with project work plans and best practices. If you have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Construction Management and at least two years of experience in environmental or construction projects, we want to hear from you.
