Global Healthcare business. The Surgical Planning Director will report directly to the Director Supply Chain, North America Surgical, and will be responsible for managing a team of demand and supply network planners & collaborating with Sales and Marketing, Manufacturing, Logistics and Procurement teams to optimize the design and the execution of the supply network for out Surgical business, in a way that supports the business targets in terms of service and costs. The incumbent will manage a team of approximately 10 direct reports, who are planning manufacturing operations employing over 2,000 associates. What You Will Do:
Design a cost efficient and resilient Supply Network for the division Lead S&OP process for the division to achieve service targets and optimize costs and inventories Be the designated Planning partner for the division Participate in Demand and Supply reviews to coordinate Planning activities for the division Manage long term capacity review for division product... supply and develop plans to resolve capacity issues Monitor service levels and proactively seek opportunities for improvements Oversee activities of Supply Network Planning to ensure highest level of product availability Recommend Make or Buy decisions to optimize cost efficient network and secure alternative options available for critical products Align inventory goal and strategies for the division's product portfolio, recommend adequate Supply Planning strategies and parameters Drive strategies for risk inventory reduction and avoidance Review product portfolio and recommend simplification opportunities Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop the yearly budget volume baseline and manage the Phase in and Phase out process of all products Ensure ERP master data alignment to Supply Chain design Contribute as a team member or project manager on a broad range of cross functional projects Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Minimum 10
years of progressive experience within supply chain planning, preferably within a healthcare, medical device and/or discrete manufacturing environment Prior supervisory experience Prior experience in demand and supply network planning, S&OP, business-aligned network design, loss analysis and continuous improvement Strong technical background with ERP and advanced planning systems, preferably JDA Ability to travel internationally No Immigration sponsorship is available for this opportunity Preferred
Qualifications:
MBA or Advanced Technical degree Previous experience managing cross-functional projects, improvement programs, initiatives Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-cultural, multi-functional and diverse backgrounds Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from executive management, employees and vendors Strong collaboration and project management skills Bilingual in Spanish APICS certified
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
