We need an eCommerce Compliance Onboarding Specialist to review new content, manage product listings, and participate in our account health strategy. This is an important role and offers great opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed in the dynamic, exciting ecommerce industry.
What does a Compliance Onboarding Specialist do?
Understand government regulatory and digital marketplace compliance (Amazon, Walmart.com, eBay, etc.)
Formulate a process to quickly evaluate product government regulatory and marketplace compliance requirements
Support the following regions: Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Australia
Maintain a turnaround timeline Service Level Agreement (SLA) in support of sales and onboarding efforts
Use official regulatory guidance, databases, and compliance software tools to screen products for suitability to sell in potential markets
Scope government regulatory and digital marketplaces compliance requirements and document for internal and external sharing
Help set customer expectations and train internal Pattern teams to do the same
Proactively troubleshoot potential issues
Join customer-facing meetings to collect information, articulate strategy, communicate timelines, and set onboarding plan
What will I need to thrive in this role?
1-2 years’ experience working in the regulatory compliance field reading and interpreting global regulations
1-2 years’ experience with the Amazon.com marketplace platform
Experience with Amazon Account Health - specifically writing plans of action and responding to performance notifications
Experience working with government regulations or regulatory bodies (FDA, EPA, CPSC, Health Canada, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree
Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Precise attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong judgment and commitment to ethics
An eagerness to learn
Preferred skills and qualifications:
Basic familiarity with Walmart.com and other ecommerce marketplaces (eBay, Shopify, Etsy, etc.)
Experience with MAP/MSRP compliance enforcement
Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Strong writing and editing skills
Previous experience working in a high-stakes business environment

What does the team look like?
Report to the Account Health Manager and work closely with the VP of eCommerce Services. This is a diverse team with members in our US office, Serbia, Pakistan, and the Philippines. We are highly collaborative and have an open correction culture. We are the bridge between many areas of the company.
