Job description

The Team:

The eCommerce team oversees all content and aspects of the Hermes.com business while supporting omnichannel services in partnership with US boutiques and deploys digital initiatives, onsite campaigns and eCommerce emailings.

As part of Generation H, you will have the opportunity to join Hermès and gain real-world, professional experience as a complement to your academic studies. In addition to the work you will provide within your specific team, you will also attend a learning-focused guest-speaker series that will provide you with exposure to various teams throughout the company; partner with a mentor who will provide feedback and coaching to support your professional skills development; network with stakeholders; and collaborate on a capstone Generation H project.

The internship is scheduled for January 17 - May 19, 2023 and may be Full-Time or Part-Time to accommodate your academic schedule.

All internships are in-person (non-remote) and based in the Hermès US corporate headquarters located at 55 East 59th Street in New York City. Interns are paid an hourly rate of US $15.00. A Full-Time Internship will be scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, and Part-Time will be scheduled for more than 15 hours but less than 35 hours per week.

About the Role:

  • Perform quality assurance for site daily, which includes searching for issues such as bugs, broken images harmonized thumbnails, load speed, etc. Assist with reporting accordingly and following through to resolution.
  • Support with completing regular catalogue audits for updates on sizing, product information and descriptions.
  • Complete audits on stock online daily.
  • Compile competitive analysis and focus on internal search, cross-selling and left menu optimizations.
  • Review and optimize left menu navigations and groupings to increase sales and stock rotations.
  • Provide maintenance of omni-channel catalogue including but not limited to addition/removal of references routinely and compilation of monthly analysis and reporting.
  • Assist with creating product selections for merchandising pushes according to monthly editorial calendar. Monitor presentation of product selections daily and update products on as needed basis.
  • Support customer service team with catalogue and image related issues.

About You:

  • Enrolled in an Associates, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong organization and research skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
