This ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and effective financial management of the CDM (Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation) Dashboard Data Services program and other CISA (Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency) programs within a dynamic and growing portfolio. The Project Control Specialist will support the Business Financial Manager in ensuring compliance with the program's contractual requirements and fulfilling financial operational tasks, with a primary focus on internal coordination and analysis. The ideal candidate will be able to align to the following duties:
• Coordinating the internal and external resources to ensure effective Subcontractor financial management (coordinating accounts payable processing, invoice verification, issue resolution, etc.)
• Coordinating accurate Time & Expense Reporting (workforce authorization and charge code distribution, invoicing/account reconciliations, timesheet reminders and reporting, etc.)
• Provide charging and Open Billing Detail analysis, as a program liaison with the Accounts Receivable team for client billing.
• Support financial operations to include the maintenance of an internal financial projection system, Spend Plan Maintenance, Monthly Status Reporting, and additional program control activities.
• Process internal paperwork to support various program management functions.
• Work heavily within the Costpoint software platform and Excel to ensure accurate bookkeeping.
Required Skills:
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Ability to successfully maintain a DHS (Department of Homeland Security) Entry on Duty (EOD)/DHS Suitability.
• 2+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Excellent MS Excel skills.
• Understanding of AP/Billing/Procurement/Time & Expense processes and requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills; team-player oriented.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to be resourceful and multitask.
• Strong organizational skills and thorough attention to detail.
• Self-motivator.
Desired Skills:
• Finance or Accounting degree preferred.
• Experience with Cost Point.
• Experience fulfilling project control responsibilities for programs in support of a Federal Client.
• Experience with Hyperion.
