About the role:
We’re hiring an Associate to join our brand consultancy. We’re looking for a high-performing, early-to-mid-career professional that wants to play a critical role at a young and growing company and can thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, creative environment.
In this role, you’ll work closely with a global, multidisciplinary team of strategists that advises top companies on how to define and implement brand positioning, purpose, identity, and messaging that builds trust. From day one, you’ll be counted on to bring outstanding client service/account management, research, and project management skills to every engagement.

This is a hybrid role (avg. 3 days a week in the office) based in Chicago. Standard responsibilities for the role will include:

Research: Conduct background research on relevant companies, industries, cultural trends, and the broader economy; summarize findings in briefing documents
- Client Service: Maintain strong working relationships with clients and partners

Presentations: Build clear, well-designed, proofread presentations in PowerPoint for client meetings and new business pitches

Meeting Coordination: Schedule and manage logistics around project status meetings, internal reviews, and client check-ins across projects

Correspondence: Write professional, clear, concise communications to key internal external stakeholders across projects

Project Management: Build and manage timelines; take high-quality notes and develop meeting recaps; ensure delivery of accurate, efficient, and high-quality work

Brand Strategy: Support strategy development by creating competitive presentations, monitoring branding trends, conducting ad hoc research, and contributing to internal reviews and client meetings

Independence: Work autonomously as well as part of a close-knit team

Integrity: Contribute positively to the reputation of Edelman Delta, both within Edelman and externally; display Edelman's core values consistently

At least 2 years of relevant experience in branding, communications, marketing, consulting, and/or related fields

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Location preference for the candidate is Chicago

At least one year of experience working in corporate/B2B branding

Proven ability to manage multiple small or medium-sized projects simultaneously
- Experience building and maintaining strong client relationships

Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with large teams

Possesses strong organizational and time/project management skills

$52,000 - $77,000 a year
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
