Edelman Associate Project Managers will develop key skills focused on project & financial management, team facilitation, and managing client business initiatives. They contribute to ensuring that project deliverables connect with creative intent, meet time specifications, and achieve quality goals.
- Assist in planning and defining scopes in partnership with Project Managers or Senior Project Managers, participating in the development of Statements of Work and tracking review/approval status.

Use project management tools to help create and manage project timelines.
- Support the delivery of larger project work streams and/or own smaller projects with oversight from the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
- Anticipate the needs of projects, flagging issues and helping to remove barriers to success for the team.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of business financials by collecting project financial data, assisting in the tracking of regular budget reporting, and providing inputs to the monthly forecasting process.
- Communicate hours, tasks, and timelines to team members in order to successfully keep work moving forward.
- Schedule and attend internal meetings, gather feedback, and send internal meeting notes with the next steps, owners, and timing.
- Work with Resource Management and other project managers to coordinate internal staff and freelance resources according to established staff plans, leveraging the established resource management tool.
- Maintain project status documentation and proactively provide project status on a regular basis to the team(s).
- Participate in training sessions and shadow more senior Project Managers in order to develop project management best practices, team facilitation skills, business acumen, and Edelman structure.
- Balance a sense of urgency with calm and confidence at all times.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in Project Management, Marketing/PR and/or related fields

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong passion for and desire to learn project management and integrated programming
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet (or other similar project management tool) is preferred
- A multi-tasker, with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

$42,000 - $70,000 a year
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
