The Education Editor is part of the Advice Products team, supporting product pages for U.S. News’ Education vertical. The main duties of the Education Editor are researching and writing descriptions of colleges and programs of study. You may also help write, fact-check and edit content for other projects.
We offer a casual work environment. Our offices are in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. We are also open to having this person work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

This position works closely with many other stakeholders, including product managers, technology specialists, SEO professionals and other editors. We need a team player who loves to learn and work with others to achieve our mission of helping consumers make informed decisions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and has a curious attitude. You should also have a keen eye for proofreading and storytelling and a willingness to adhere to the AP Style guide and internal style guidelines.
