What being an OSHC Educator Entails
OSHC Educators care for children before school, after school and during school holiday periods. Highlights include running fascinating, fun-filled and educational activities with primary school children – such as science experiments, outdoor games and painting.

YMCA Woodcrest Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is a new service located at the Woodcrest State College Primary Campus and the service is licensed for 120 children and is located across the road from Springfield Train Station.
Our service philosophy prioritises community and belonging, children’s agency and the importance of spontaneous, multi-age play in middle childhood. We offer a range of planned and spontaneous play experiences for children and welcome educators with unique skill sets to share with children.
The YMCA is the fastest growing OSHC provider in the South East with 50+ services, which in turn provides our staff with the ability to grow and move through the company as their careers head to the next level.
