The Planning and Advice Consultation Group provides tailored financial strategies to clients by partnering with our branch teams to review and analyze complex client needs and goals.As part of the client team, the Client Consultation Group within our Wealth Management Consultation department provides tailored financial strategies to clients by partnering with branch teams to review and analyze complex client needs and goals.What you Will Do:Senior Wealth Strategists leverage the extensive resources of our home office to support our financial advisors in serving their clients with complex needs, particularly related to tax planning. This position is critical in serving as the primary contact between the two groups. You will be called upon as a financial planning subject matter expert, on the firm's full suite of financial planning tools, investment offerings and how they're leveraged to help clients define their financial goals and identify solutions to keep them on-track. Additionally, you will apply knowledge of financial planning disciplines to unique client circumstances and work directly with branch teams and their clients. You'll be joining a team of high-energy associates, with tenure ranging from years to decades, dedicated to personal development, inclusion and diversity, and partnering with financial advisors as part of the client team.Responsibilities include:• Develop Goals based strategies for clients with complex needs using a team approach which requires specific technical knowledge in tax planning and comprehensive financial planning.• Communicate with financial advisors and clients to gain understanding of client's needs, aide in documenting client goals, articulate investment and financial planning strategies and recommendations, identify expertise needed to help the client achieve their goals, and help build relationships with clients and financial advisors• Serve as a subject matter expert for tax planning strategies that supports the creation of goals-based and financial planning recommendations for clients with complex needs.• Lead firm goals, projects and initiatives to better serve branch teams and clients.• Drive department/team wide goals, projects and initiatives to better serve branch teams and clients.• Serve as subject matter expert for complex cases requiring deep technical knowledge in tax planning and financial planning experience and have a strong understanding of upcoming rules/regulations and impacts to tax planning and financial planning concepts• Stay abreast of tax planning concepts, market trends, investment opportunities, changes in financial regulations, etc. and share subject matter expertise with team, Financial Advisors, and clientsAt Edward Jones, we value and respect our associates and their contributions, and we recognize individual efforts through a rewards program that promotes a long-term career, financial security and well-being. The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:Hiring Minimum: $113810Hiring Maximum: $193785Skills/RequirementsWhat Experience You Need:• 9+ years' experience in the Financial Services Industry• Series 7 and 66 required within 6 months of hire• Insurance license required within 6 months of hire• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting or Law required• Broad knowledge of branch teams and branch structure• CFP designation highly preferredWhat Could Set You Apart:• Mastery of financial planning, investment strategies, tax planning, and estate planning.• Extensive experience dealing with high net worth clients and addressing their complex financial needs.• Exceptional analytical abilities for assessing complex financial situations and developing tailored solutions.• Ability to support a financial advisor in evaluating solutions-based strategies for client needs• Understanding of Financial Advisor/ and Branch Team Support member(s) processes including the implementation of Core Wealth, Banking, and Financial Planning offerings.• Professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFP), CPA, or Juris Doctorate Degree.• Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.Awards & AccoladesAt Edward Jones, we are building a place where everyone feels like they belong.
