Position Summary & Responsibilities:
This position provides benefit eligibility determinations (new applications, re-certifications and all changes) for Child Care, Cash, and Food Assistance through phone, face to face, computer, fax and mail. Work is completed within KEES. This position serves Miami County and remotely assists other offices/counties daily within the East Region and assists with statewide backlog from other regions as needed.

Qualifications:
Two years of experience interviewing, investigating, compiling information, documenting decisions, interpreting guidelines and/or providing technical assistance relevant to the agency's programs. Post secondary education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Education or Training - special or professional:
Preferred:
- A bachelor’s degree with a social services emphasis
Experience:
Preferred:
- Work experience with caseload management within a Human Service Agency
- Work experience in determining eligibility for Human Service programs
Licenses, certificates and registrations:
Must maintain a valid driver’s license if position requires travel
Special knowledge, skills and abilities:
Must be able to communicate effectively verbally as well as in writing
Pre-employment Requirements:
Security Background Check through Kansas Bureau of Investigation (Must maintain security clearance throughout employment)
