We would love you to join us at Experian in helping us to shape the future of employer services for Human Resources compliance and outsourcing. We are seeking a Director to assist in leading our R&D operations. You’ll help shape a new business at Experian and help to drive market penetration of new and existing product lines in this space.

We seek a candidate eager to join a start-up atmosphere, someone who is able to adapt readily, instill confidence in internal and external partners and drive results. Comfort with ambiguity and a high aptitude for adaptability arenecessary.

As the ideal candidate, you’ll need to be able to quickly prioritize opportunities and have a strong drive for accomplishment. You must be comfortable with shifting priorities and be a world class problem solver, working across functional units to ensure success. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to convey ideas and information through slides, as well as verbal and written materials is required. You must also demonstrate an ability to manage a variety of tasks within a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and be solution-oriented while keeping tasks prioritized. The ability to raise issues before they turn into problems is critical. Strong organization, time management, problem solving, and communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate also brings creative and strategic solutions to the table to help solve complex problems and is someone who acts as a change agent to evolve processes and challenge current thinking.

Experian Employer Services is a new business unit that combines existing Experian Capabilities with new acquisitions to support a high growth entry into the Employer Services and Verifications space. This position will be responsible for the following: (1) provide consultative expertise in discussions with key clients, around the business benefits of implementing Experian Employer Service offerings, (2) delivery of technology-enabled services to a cross-section of clients, (3) development of new Experian Employer Service offerings and strategies, (4) creating efficient processes, (5) recruiting, hiring, training and mentoring teams to execute on service and operational excellence. This position is expected to be a highly contributory leader to help build and execute an aggressive growth strategy across dedicated parts of the business unit.

What you’ll be doing

  • Work with Experian Employer Services leadership to identify target industries, develop overall operations strategies, and implement process improvements
  • Develop new solutions and improve existing solutions to improve client service capabilities
  • Lead and manage a team of technical experts to deliver services as contracted
  • Mentor and develop staff to create a culture of excellence with high levels of engagement/satisfaction
  • Provide oversight and, as needed, technical / review support for all aspects of the Incentive Services offered and sold to clients
  • Support the Incentives finance function by preparing revenue projections.
  • Participate in weekly management calls to provide an update on both the delivery and financial aspects of the services of oversight
  • Collaborating with other leaders on this multi-year, major strategic initiative to build a new business
  • Leading and managing a large, complex enterprise-level project consisting of multiple teams internal and external
  • Influencing cross-functional teams, including senior executives
  • Identifying, and managing risk in a thoughtful, wise, and logical manner
  • Providing leadership to align technology with business objectives
  • Leading meetings with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals and drive resolution of open issues
  • Evaluating and assessing the programs strengths and weakness in this constantly evolving environment
  • Engaging in thought leadership and demonstrating comfort initiating/engaging in difficult conversations
  • Quickly grasping new technologies and learning a new business
  • Develops corporate and/or organizational policies and authorizes their implementation.
  • Detailed knowledge of company allows for innovative concepts and promoting new ideas.
  • Provides direction to senior managers in various areas, groups, and/or operations.
  • Recognized as an influential leader.

Qualifications


What your background looks like

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks, take initiative and prioritize multiple work items
  • Must remain flexible and be comfortable with ambiguity within a very demanding, constantly changing environment
  • Experience managing transformative initiatives
  • Knowledge of human capital management systems and/or HR/Payroll/Tax related product offerings a plus
  • Work with Experian Employer Services leadership to identify target industries, develop overall operations strategies, and implement process improvements
  • Develop new solutions and improve existing solutions to improve client service capabilities
  • Lead and manage a team of technical experts to deliver services as contracted
  • Mentor and develop staff to create a culture of excellence with high levels of engagement/satisfaction
  • Provide oversight and, as needed, technical / review support for all aspects of the Incentive Services offered and sold to clients
  • Support the Incentives finance function by preparing revenue projections
  • Participate in weekly management calls to provide an update on both the delivery and financial aspects of the services of oversight
  • Masters in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • 9+ years functional experience.
  • 6+ years managerial experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education. This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
