They are proficient in mentoring leaders, anticipating challenges, diagnosing problems, recommending solutions, and leading programs that have a direct impact on the success of the organization. Also, you are able to balance critical thinking regarding long-term business priorities along with day-to-day needs: being a change agent is part of your leadership toolkit.Liaising with the other Directors, HR Business Partners and Functional Leaders, you will address business challenges through people solutions. You will collaborate across functions and geographies while thinking differently about how we approach work and teams. Further, you will work through our Centers of Excellence to influence and provide solutions for HR-related activities, including employee relations, compensation management, organizational planning and design, and the overall employee experience.• *Applicants must reside in US Eastern or Central Time**What You Will Do:• Provide Director level HRBP partnership to the Americas and Federal senior leadership teams to build programs that scale the organization, grow strong teams, and develop outstanding leaders• Provide strategic counsel and consultative solutions to business leaders on people management aspects of their business to include driving organizational development, leadership development, team efficiency, and change management• Play a key role with the implementation of new initiatives and projects including; compensation strategy, workforce planning & organizational design, talent management, and career development• Partner with COE colleagues bringing comprehensive solutions to sophisticated people issues• Provide management mentor and training to senior leaders• Use analytical capabilities and take a data-driven approach to influence business partners with recommendations.• Create and implement regular and ad-hoc reports to ensure HR metrics are quantified and outcome-driven. Able to identify trends and proactively recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience• Leverage best practices and find opportunities for efficiency• Understand the client groups, strategy, challenges, business initiatives, and their business model• Provide consultative support and direction to managers on implementation / execution of core HR programs• Lead people practices that cultivate innovation and collaborationWhat You Bring With You:• 10+ years of dynamically responsible experience in human resource management, especially in organizational transformation, and coaching• Experience supporting field sales organizations and preferably in the tech industry. Experience with Federal direct-selling teams is a plus!• Strategic, critical problem solver who isn’t afraid to get into the weeds; have a passion for working as a team• Build effective relationships, using your influencing skills to drive desired outcomes• Strong collaborator and able to work well in a team environment while also open to different ideas and strategies• Excellent communication and presentation skill• A high degree of integrity and honesty; ability to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in complex and unique situations• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities• Adapt to changing business situations, comfortable working in high growth, fast-paced environment• An ability to roll with the punches is a plus, and a sense of humor is key!Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastics stock program.
