This person will work closely with other designers, product managers, and engineers to build and develop user-friendly digital products.ResponsibilitiesUser-Centered Design: Champion a user-centered design approach, conducting user research, user testing, and personas development to inform design decisions.UI/UX Strategy: Develop and communicate design strategies, user flows, and wireframes to align with product goals and user needs.Visual Design: Create visually stunning and cohesive user interfaces, including icons, typography, color schemes, and graphic elements.Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes to illustrate and validate design concepts and user interactions.Information Architecture: Define and optimize information architecture and navigation to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are effectively implemented.Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides to ensure design consistency across products and platforms.Accessibility: Ensure designs are accessible to all users, adhering to accessibility guidelines and standards.Feedback Integration: Gather and incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve designs.Project Leadership: Lead and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.Stakeholder Engagement: Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, and advocate for user-centered design principles.Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and emerging technologies in the UI/UX field.Requirements5+ years of UI/UX design experience.Proven experience as a Senior UI/UX Designer with a portfolio showcasing your design work and process.Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.Experience with business process mapping and modeling.Omni-channel design and delivery experience is preferred.Familiarity with web and mobile design patterns and responsive design principles.Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to lead design projects, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.A collaborative and constructive approach to working with cross-functional teams.Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality design solutions.BenefitsComprehensive Health BenefitsCompetitive 401(k) match with immediate vestingPaid time off (Vacation, Sick, Holiday)Free Shuttle Service to and from NYC and the officeDaily subsidized mealsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Elements Connect is an equal opportunity employer.We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, non-disqualifying physical or mental disability, national origin, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
