Staff Software Engineer at Elemy As we look to scale our business, we are growing our engineering team to help us build the tools needed to provide better care for our families. We are looking for back-end engineers who can contribute to building easy to use tools for our families, providers, and administrators. At Elemy we are looking to hire engineers who want to make an impact, build unique experiences, and care about how our products work, how they look, how they feel, and how they function. What You'll Do:
Design and implement backend software systems that support our families, providers, and Elemy administrators. Work closely with front-end engineers to seamlessly integrate backend APIs. Uphold standards for quality by performing code reviews, fixing bugs, creating automated tests, and monitoring performance. Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and designers to collaborate on the features that will help our users better navigate the world of autism care. You are an owner and you deeply care about the quality of our products. High availability, high throughput, low-latency, and correctness are aspects of great products that motivates you! You believe in high quality software that delight and enable all our users. At the end of the day we are helping our clinicians, the caregivers and their child. What You'll Need:
Proficiency in Java, Spring, Kotlin, Scala, JVM based languages, Node.js, and GraphQL with the ability to write clean, maintainable and scalable code. Experience building APIs and associated authentication mechanisms. Experience with Okta OAuth and SAML a definite plus. You can work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to break down product requirements and maintain visibility on your work. Some experience across full-stack development is a plus - maybe you haven't mastered any one side but you have a breadth of understanding that is useful. Experience with CI/CD platforms. Experience with Unit Test framework for Kotlin and Java as well as other test automation frameworks a must. Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science or related field preferred At Elemy, we are a globally-distributed team with many of our team members located throughout the world, including in the following cities:
