Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate must live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations. Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.The Broker Relations Mgr II provides oversight and relationship management across all identified top broker/consultant firms tied to strategic priorities for Specialty and Stop Loss business. Acts as subject matter expert and provides guidance and direction to peer team in alignment with direction from leadership. Responsible for strategic planning and executing initiatives tied to Broker/Consultant development for assigned firms.How You Will Make An Impact• Understands all aspects of the business and partners with executive leadership to define strategy and position sales and account management teams for success with broker/consultant firms.• Translates strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects priorities, and timelines and ensures alignment and attainment of enterprises strategic plans to turn strategy into reality.• Documents strategic such as earn trusted partner status and position Elevance as an industry thought leader.• Serve as liaison to aligned leadership teams to drive broker/consultant engagement.• Builds and leverages relationships to provide innovative solutions to complex business problems.• Identifies, designs and negotiates broad strategic initiatives in conjunction with matrix partners across Elevance to help achieve growth goals.• Proposes opportunities to improve results based on continuous needs assessment and provide effective day to day consultative management and issue resolution.• Responsible for directing and impacting broker sales and retention results through ongoing initiatives and expands influence and reach of Broker Relations functions.Minimum RequirementsRequires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of related experience and a minimum of 3 years strategic planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Skills, Capabilities And Experiences• Experience in a healthcare or health plan setting most notably managing Broker/Consultant relationships strongly preferred.• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts towards common goals preferred.• Ability to analyze workflows, processes, managing multiple projects/initiatives and identifying improvements strongly preferred.• Experience interacting confidently with senior management and executive level stakeholders, as a subject matter expert and comfortable with influencing decision-making.• Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties.• Proficient of Microsoft Office products, most notably expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook strongly preferred.For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $142,380 to $254,250Locations: California; Colorado; District of Columbia (Washington, DC); Nevada; New York; Washington StateIn addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
