Process Improvement Director/ Payment Integrity

Carelon Payment Integrity is a proud member of the Elevance Health family of companies, Carelon Insights, formerly Payment Integrity, is determined to recover, eliminate and prevent unnecessary medical-expense spending.Our Payment Integrity (PI) Operational Excellence organization is looking to hire aProcess Improvement Director.This Director will partner with VPs and Directors across five functional PI areas (Data Mining, Coordination of Benefits, Complex and Clinical Audit, Claims Edits, and SUI) operating as an internal consultant to build trusted executive relationships, assess the area for opportunities, use Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies to execute opportunities, and drive change that will deliver current savings targets while also identifying new targets.This position can work in hybrid way from any US Elevance Health corporate work location.How you will make an impact:Works with leaders and stakeholders to proactively identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement.Research, develop, and implement related best practices.Develops metrics to track performance, progress, and goal achievement.Serves as internal consultant relative to continuous improvement initiatives.Identifies and develops plans to improve performance to be incorporated organization-wide.Leads workshops and working sessions as needed to facilitate continuous improvement.Teaches and coaches/mentors others in Process Improvement and Lean Six Sigma principles and project leadership.Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 10 years of process improvement experience with planning, assessment, project management, business analysis, and leadership role experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Skills & Experiences:Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification; Master Black Belt preferred; Kaizen leadership experience.Healthcare process improvement and operational excellent experience, with specific knowledge in payment integrity, provider, and claims domains.Process automation and change management experience.Willing to travel to worksite and other locations as necessary.Original job Process Improvement Director/ Payment Integrity posted on GrabJobs ©.
