The Role:

We’re seeking a Staff Data Scientist to join our growth and revenue efforts in a pivotal time of company growth. In this role, you will collaborate with our product teams and senior leadership to accelerate user acquisition, activation, and monetization. Your work will help inform decisions across our award-winning apps, Balance and Elevate, as well as future products. You will influence the overall monetization strategy by analyzing and experimenting with channel mix, onboarding experience, and conversion strategies on app and web. This work is mission-critical for our company, and we’re looking for an experienced individual who is passionate about driving product strategy, decisions, and actions through data.

This is a fully remote position anywhere in North or South America.

• You will collaborate closely with the monetization product team to drive our revenue metrics including conversion, subscription profitability, and subscriber retention
• You will play a key role in strategic initiatives to unlock new channels and platforms for user growth, including web-to-app 
• You will collaborate cross-functionally across product, marketing, and finance to understand cohort performance, track financial metrics, and align marketing budgets
• You will influence the data team in our roadmap, tech stack, and culture, including mentorship opportunities to support the development of other teammates

• 7+ years of analytical experience in digital consumer subscription or B2C mobile and web monetization including funnel and cohort analysis, modeling LTV:CAC, user segmentation, conversion optimization, and AB testing
• Experience implementing analytics for web and developing measurement frameworks to understand ROI on web, including expertise in Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager or equivalent
• Experience with forecasting revenue performance and working with marketing and finance to align budgets to expected ROI
• Expertise in SQL or Python, owning end-to-end data workflows that are efficient and well-tested
• Experience as a thought partner with stakeholders, translating complex, technical subjects into digestible and actionable information
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally and with senior leadership
