Summary of Position
The Order Management Contractor will manage and execute the entire life cycle process of inbound orders received from their assigned retailers/ accounts. Candidate will possess strong communication skills as this role is a central communication point between Sales, Planning, Marketing and the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sample request process including order processing, fulfillment, and tracking in collaboration with other departments including but not limited to Marketing, Sales and outside PR agencies
- Process orders received directly from assigned Retailers with the ability to communicate cuts, out of stocks and shipping information
- Constant interaction with numerous internal teams such as Sales, Planning & Warehousing including weekly meetings
- Update existing Excel reports and create ad hoc reports as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations or Business Management or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years’ experience in related field preferably consumer products
- Must be proficient in Excel, including but not limited to Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
- Experience working with EDI transactions and troubleshooting; experience with ERP systems (i.e. NetSuite) a plus
- Prior experience Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central platforms; confirming PO, routing, and chargebacks
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Superior attention to detail under tight deadlines
- Proven ability to work well with others in a team environment and amongst all levels of the organization
