Ellipsis Labs is building Atlas, a blockchain for verifiable finance. Verifiable finance enables financial applications to combine the performance of traditional finance with DeFi's transparency.
All roles are in the Ellipsis Labs office in New York City.
We’re currently looking to hire our first in-house tech-focused recruiter, who would work directly with Eugene and Jarry to expand this 12-person team. The focus is predominantly on software engineering, though there will also be opportunities to work on non-technical roles well, such as marketing or administration. You’d be building a world-class team, with current engineers hailing from Stripe, Airbnb, Switchboard Labs, Akuna Capital, and more.

Responsibilities:
Identifying and closing A+ engineering and product talent, conveying to them the uniquely deep technical challenges at Ellipsis Labs
Constructing a recruiting operation that produces good hiring decisions quickly and at scale
Defining and publicizing a talent brand that attracts the best engineers in (and beyond) crypto
Counseling founders on issues ranging from offer negotiation to organizational design
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience building globally elite teams, ideally competing against the world’s strongest engineering and/or finance companies for talent
A history of building deep, trusted relationships with hiring managers, ideally in the context of at least one early-stage startup
The ability to influence complex processes without explicit authority
Genuine curiosity about the wide-ranging implications of crypto technology on the way financial markets operate
Evidence of grit: experience overcoming challenging personal and professional circumstances
