ELPEDISON, with its two privately-owned power plants in Thisvi (Voiotia) and Thessaloniki, with a total installed capacity of 820 MW, uses natural gas as fuel and ensures a clean and continuous electricity flow, based on a highly environmentally-friendly power generation process.

We are currently looking for an Energy Efficiency Services Design Engineer toaudit, analyze and design energy efficiency services, including - among others - site upgrades, facility energy management and building automations for commercial, tertiary and industrial buildings of the private or/and public sector. The role also Interfaces with the customer to present and explain technical solutions that match in the best way customer’s current and future needs, leveraging best-in-class technologies and systems.

What will you do:

• Conduct on-site audits, field inspections, sub-metering to collect data for energy efficiency projects.
• Communicate with customers to obtain all the appropriate information for site upgrade analysis.
• Design and configure technically complex Building Automation Systems leveraging state-of-the-art technology and related innovations, including IoT and AI.
• Inspect or monitor energy systems, including HVAC and lighting of commercial or/and industrial use.
• Propose upgraded actions for the increase in energy efficiency or/and energy savings in HVAC and lighting systems, taking into consideration best market practices and standards.
• Evaluate energy conservation possibilities by reviewing architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings of a customer’s site.
• Manage the design and development of energy efficiency projects as per the guidelines set by the Energy Efficiency Services Business Unit.
• Consult the site engineers for installation/integration of energy efficient systems (mechanical or electrical).
• Prepare technical reports for implementation of energy efficient designing.
• Configure system database for reporting, alarming and monitoring of Building Automation systems.
• Visits customer and present business analysis and technical-economic solutions for turnkey projects and ESCO contracting models, addressing both technical and commercial terms using the appropriate argumentation.
• Prepare presentation for customers and reporting according to the Energy Efficiency Services Business Unit’s or the Company’s needs.
• Work closely with the Energy Efficiency Services Sales team for the day-to-day customers’ management up to their contracting.
• Scout the market and propose new technologies and innovations to further strengthen internal engineering design skills

What you need to be successful:

• A BEng in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• A Master’s degree or MBA
• 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a technical company or industrial environment or consulting company
• Chartered Engineering Status, Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and CAD programs
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication, customer management, interpersonal and team working skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
