As a developer, adding a couple of charts to your online platform is easy. Scaling analytics to tens of thousands of end-users, who all have differing data needs and data questions, is a hard problem. Embeddable gives you the infrastructure and tools to rapidly build out your interactive in-product analytics in days, not months, and empowers your team to iterate on your analytics at the pace your customers need.
Our 3 core user personas are…:
Front-end (React.js) developers using our SDK to build beautifully interactive analytical experiences.
Data teams building (SQL-based) data models for powering their single-source-of-truth.
End users (typically non-technical) who are interacting with the analytical experiences and building out their own custom dashboards in our customers’ platforms.

You’re a smart, hungry and humble Account Executive based on the US East Coast or Central region who's ready to capitalise on the powerful growth engine we've built that’s already delivering an increasing stream of inbound leads for our headless embedded analytics platform. As the first member of our sales team, you’ll be the driving force behind converting these leads into wins, elevating our close rates, and shaping the future of our sales strategy.
You’ll be consulting software engineering and product teams across North America, Europe and other territories, and you’ll need to be comfortable guiding CTOs and engineers through a technical purchase. We’re on an exciting growth trajectory, and this role is perfect for an ambitious, driven selleer looking to deliver outstanding sales results while continuously developing and sharpening their skills.
Sales Process & Lead Management -> Converting Opportunities into Wins 🎯
Help prospective customers understand the value of Embeddable and establish a hit for their projects.
Take ownership of the inbound sales pipeline and keep leads moving smoothly through the funnel.
Create opportunities through other channels e.g. at events & conferences, outbound sales, etc. as necessary to supplement inbound deal flow.
Follow up with leads consistently, keep deals on track, and drive them toward closure.
Develop strong relationships with and top customers key decision-makers (CTOs, Engineering Leads).
Maintain detailed records of all sales activities and deal requirements in the CRM to stay organized.
Sales Strategy & Optimization -> Increasing Close Rates 📈
Continuously refine and optimize your sales pitch and strategy to improve conversion rates, while maintaining the ‘fit’ of accounts closed.
Track and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to the leadership team.
Develop and maintain sales collateral (with the help of the team if needed).
Create and present monthly sales reports.
Collaboration & Growth -> Driving Teamwide Success 💪
Work closely with Customer Success, Growth, and Product teams to ensure that we’re all pulling in the same direction.
As we expand, you may have the chance to hire, train, and manage future sales team members.
Hard skills:
5+ years of proven experience in selling developer-focused software or tools.
Alternatively, experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, or technical product manager in a software company alongside a strong sales background.
Strong understanding of the needs of technical teams (especially CTOs and engineers) and how to sell developer tools.
You understand the importance of recording deal details in our CRM and are always on top of that
You’re super comfortable with using a CRM and other sales tooling
Native or fluent English speaker.
Personality traits/soft skills:
You bring positive energy to sales calls and see every ‘no’ as a chance to improve your strategy.
Take a consultative sales approach and offer genuine, knowledge-based guidance to customers - you love to go deep in discovery and have no interest in miss-selling to customers!
Excellent communicator with relationship management skills.
