REQUIREMENTS:
· Sewing / embroidery experience is helpful but not required.
· Basic communication skills to include reading, speaking, and understanding English and basic math skills.
· The physical ability to stand and walk up to 100% of the work shift.
· The physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
· Specific vision abilities required of the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
· This position requires a high attention to detail and quality.
· This position requires demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work with others in a positive manner.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks.
· Must follow directions well.
· Ability to work overtime – including work on weekends, when needed.
· Good attendance is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Check in garments when they arrive.
· Load design onto the machine via computer
· Hoop garment or item while machine is running prepping for the next run
· Operate machines while trimming the backing
· Learn how to adjust tensions for better sewing quality
· Fix errors if needed on items
· Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is a must for this job.
· Maintains a safe, efficient, and clean work environment that shows pride in Workwear, and is worthy of sharing with visitors at all times.
HOURS: 2nd shift hours: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. OT may be required daily and on Saturday.
