As the Manager of Strategic Programs at Emburse, you will leverage your relationship-building and project-management expertise to collaborate with leaders and stakeholders across the organization on various strategic initiatives. You will play a crucial role in planning and executing critical projects that support our key business priorities. With the support of our leaders and sponsors, you will help amplify and accelerate key programs, enabling us to seize the transformation opportunities ahead.
Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, this position involves working on a range of transformational projects and initiatives, including driving operational excellence, production governance, technological convergence, go-to-market strategies, Customer Success, and more. The role requires exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills and broad business acumen, with the ability to influence colleagues and align them with key initiatives and projects.

What you'll do:- Orchestrate cross-functional projects and initiatives lacking a natural owner, contributing to the initial business case, project kickoff, establishment of success metrics, and project management processes.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis to inform decision-making across the organization.
- Assist with market research by gathering insights from customers and partners through methods such as win/loss analysis, customer exit interviews, Salesforce/billing/product data analysis, competitor research, and partnership evaluations.
- Support business growth by identifying revenue-generating opportunities, including client upsells, price increases, and marketing campaigns.
- Enhance operational efficiency by researching and implementing automation tools and evolving outdated processes.
- Provide operational support to Finance, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Legal as needed.
- Assist in various ad-hoc projects, including M&A integrations and go-to-market launches.
- Support the Chief of Staff in establishing and maintaining best practices for goal setting, tracking, and operational excellence, with regular key result check-ins with appropriate stakeholders.
- Demonstrate advanced prioritization and organizational skills, performing assessments to recommend solutions based on impact analysis, experience, and judgment.
- Exhibit problem-solving expertise, creatively and effectively resolving complex issues and proactively identifying necessary steps.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with a variety of stakeholders, managing difficult conversations to drive project outcomes.

What we're looking for:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field required; relevant experience will be considered
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or implementation services
- Proficiency in managing project plans and deliverables
- Exceptional analytical, evaluative, and technical problem-solving skills
- Strong research, presentation, and report-writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy, with effective motivational and diplomatic skills suitable for large and complex organizations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging with a wide range of contacts and producing effective documents, proposals, and reports
- Proficiency in Excel, project management tools, and CRM systems such as Salesforce, Gainsight, and Smartsheets
- PMP Certification or knowledge of project management methodologies highly preferred
