100% Remote position, working with an international team on AA or AAA games in an Unreal Studio
Position Summary: Senior 3D Character Artist
Create 3D Sculpts/Meshes/Materials that faithfully represent the approved targets.
Prepare and integrate Character assets into UE4/UE5 for game development.
Full-time, 100% remote.

Responsibilities
Create clean, optimized, high quality 3D models, materials, and texture/UV maps that satisfy the intended visual target set forth by the Character Leads.
Provide the initial skinning passes of character models and give feedback to others on proper techniques/process.
Participate in on-going discussions regarding workflow and techniques that result in the refinement of methods used in the studio.
Iterate quickly and effectively based on feedback from Art Directors, Leads, Animators.
Operate independently and ask for guidance when necessary.
Problem-solve/Debug issues related to your craft both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years as a Senior Character Artist on A-AAA UE4/5 game development.
Must have shipped 1+ A-AAA UE4/5 game as a Senior Character Artist in the last 3 years.
Must provide a comprehensive portfolio showing a varied range of styles and techniques used to create 3D Characters, along with examples of skinned skeletal meshes.
Mastery of ZBrush and Maya and proficiency with Marvelous Designer.
Deep knowledge of the human form / proportions and of clothing / accessories.
Current knowledge base of best practices and of 3D Character workflows
Ability to adapt to accelerated schedules and guiding others when there is a pivot in direction.
Desired Qualifications
Rigging experience.
Hair/Fur grooming experience for games.
Good oral and verbal communication skills in English.
Great interpersonal skills.
Desire to mentor and train other 3D Character Artists.
