Applications management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively. 

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will join one of several challenging projects for well-known international companies that are leaders in Software, Telecommunication, Insurance, Finance, IoT, Crypto and Logistics industries. We are experiencing a growing workload from our clients and are committed to building long-term relationships with them. To support this growth, we are continuously seeking skilled professionals in DevOps and Cloud Operations with expertise in Azure.

At our Belgrade, Kragujevac, Novi Sad, Cacak or Nis office, you’ll be working with top-notch engineers in the team who will be in charge of helping you grow, and provide support and guidance. You would be a part of an Agile team and have the opportunity to use different tools and technologies. No on-call, unannounced or unpaid overtime. 

You would be surrounded by many DevOps Engineers in Serbia and even more globally – we won’t ever leave you hanging. 

In addition, you would have access to a wide variety of most popular e-learning platforms (Udemy, Coursera, A Cloud Guru, PluralSight, O'Reilly), internal guided trainings, lectures and bootcamps (both local and global).

Responsibilities 

• Assists the team in developing the design and specifications based on project requirements
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep or ARM Templates
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Consults with project and product teams on the best use of cloud services
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of application
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services, deployments, and application performance
• Implement and manage version control systems and build automation processes
• Manages and operates Windows and Linux based systems 
• Defines and implements system improvement ideas 
• Coaches and mentors team members 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our DevOps practices

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with a focus on Azure and Azure DevOps
• Good knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Container Instances/Apps
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Bicep/Azure Resource Manager (ARM)/Terraform
• Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or other third-party solutions
• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles and best practices, and demonstrated ability and openness to working in an agile environment as part of an agile team 
• Collaborative attitude and the ability to work well with others to achieve a common goal 
• Demonstrated training and/or applied experience as coach and/or mentor

Nice to haves: 

• Azure or DevOps related certifications
• Windows and Linux system administration
• Configuration management tools experience
• Experience with on-premise to Cloud migration
