Engineering Intern

Summer internship with Jabil at the Materials Innovation Center in Chaska, Minnesota with a focus in Process Engineering. The Materials Innovation Center specializes in developing and manufacturing engineered polymers for additive manufacturing applications. The Process Engineering team focuses on the manufacture and system integration of these materials, in the forms of pellets, filaments, and powders. Specific projects and studies will be executed by this position to further the understanding of material performance and manufacturability. Experience will be gained on industrial plastics processing equipment as well as filament and powder 3D Printers. Communication skills and documentation will be utilized to summarize project outputs and results in the form of short reports and group presentations.
