Our Detroit team is growing quickly and we are looking for passionate Project Management Consultants to join our team!

What You'll Do

As a Project Management Consultant, you will work with our global team of Project Management Consultants to deliver value. You will engage with key stakeholders and represent the M|P brand. This role will have a strong focus on client delivery, with the opportunity to vary your experience and support our top engagements as part of our Detroit Hub. Your responsibilities will be to:

• Closely work with the program manager and project managers to provide project management support.
• Assist in developing schedules/timelines/cost plans that support the business objectives, established budgets, resources, and project deliverables for each project.
• Initiate and manage creative and dynamic solutions for clients facing challenges in delivery.
• Coordinate project resource changes, including space, equipment, and update of project documentation (team lists, organization charts).

WHO ARE YOU?

You are someone who has a Bachelor’s degree with relevant project, program or portfolio management expertise. You have a demonstrated desire to grow your career in Project Management, and a passion for leveraging PPM fundamentals and best practices to drive project delivery. You have a good understanding of PMO, Project, Program, and Portfolio Management (PPM) disciplines.

You bring a high-energy, self-starter attitude and are trusted to get the job done. You are an excellent communicator, adjusting communication styles based on your audience. You are a quick learner, adaptable and can thrive in new environments. You are someone who brings new value to the current expertise (Change Management, Agile, Analytics, etc.). You are also proactive, confident, and engaging; especially when it comes to large stakeholder groups.
