Engineering Technician

Ensuring Chart’s Success…

The electronic and instrument technician will work with the Sustainable Energy Solutions engineering team on maintaining and cleaning lab facilities, helping to assemble and disassemble test equipment, working with electrical installation, and occasionally helingp with experiments. Main work environment would be a warehouse environment. This part-time position is a hands-on type role and that will involve completing tasks assigned by the engineering team. This position will be based out of the Orem, UT location of Chart.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

• Maintain lab area and equipment
• Moving equipment, assembling/disassembling lab storage
• Assemble or fabricate test equipment using basic tools as needed
• Assist with testing as needed
• Install, adjust and maintain electrical wiring and equipment
• Observe safety procedures and policies, preferably with NSTC and OSHA training

Your Education Should Be…

• Associates degree in Electronics or Instrumentation desirable

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

• Frequent standing, sitting, and walking, bending, stopping, twisting and occasional crawling
• Occasional lifting of up to 40-50 lbs
• Occasional pushing, pulling and handling of materials
