Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, verify, and maintain CNC programs, set up sheets, tooling sheets and DDR’s to efficiently produce machined components meeting manufacturing specifications.
• Review ECO’s affecting drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of machined components, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
• Make recommendations for manufacturability.
• Perform time study, procedure and fixture development.
• Reduce manufacturing costs, setup times and cycle times, document robust setups for the existing production process.
• Establish Standard Tool Library and request specialty tooling, as job requires. Minimize inventory of expendable tooling.
• Cost estimate for product; develop internal quotes for jobs.
• Incorporate single piece flow to produce as many parts as possible per set up; use as few tools as possible; program deburring into the program or problem or critical areas.
• Maintain the program directory.
• Comply with company policy and procedures including those related to quality and safety.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times.
• Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer.

Qualifications

Education:

• Vocational, Certificate, Technical or Associates.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to perform detail documentation.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feed objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to sit and stand. The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arm, and talk and hear. Close vision, the ability to adjust focus, and depth perception is required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 lbs.
