The Senior Enterprise Content Engineer - OnBase is a strategic role focused on designing, developing, and implementing scalable enterprise content management (ECM) solutions. This position requires advanced expertise in OnBase and related ECM tools, API integration, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS). The Senior Enterprise Content Engineer is responsible for setting and leading the ECM architecture strategy, aligning it with business goals, and ensuring high performance, security, and scalability of ECM systems.
This position is hybrid, with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. Therefore, candidates must reside in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, or be willing to relocate to this city.
• Hands on experience with enterprise content management tools such as OnBase, SmartCOMM, and SmartIQ. OnBase experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience with API design, development, testing, and integration.
• Ability to develop scripts to complement ECM solutions. C# and Visual Basic are highly preferred.
• Experience with OCR technology including development, testing, and maintenance.
• Develop and drive the overall ECM architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and secure enterprise-wide solutions, encompassing applications, infrastructure, data, and integration layers.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to the ECM team, ensuring adherence to established architecture principles, standards, and guidelines.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of architectural documentation, including solution design documentation, diagrams, guidelines, and policies, to facilitate knowledge sharing and enable effective decision-making.
Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Architecture & Strategy:
• Develop and drive the ECM architecture strategy to align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Design scalable, secure ECM solutions, encompassing applications, data, and integration layers.
2. Technical Leadership and Solution Design:
• Lead ECM solution design, development, and deployment across the enterprise, ensuring integration and adherence to architecture principles.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to ECM team members, fostering adherence to standards, best practices, and organizational objectives.
• Maintain architectural documentation (design, guidelines, policies) to facilitate knowledge sharing and decision-making.
3. Content Management Tools and Development:
• Utilize advanced knowledge of OnBase, SmartCOMM, and SmartIQ to manage enterprise content effectively, with hands-on OnBase experience as a priority.
• Develop scripts to enhance ECM solutions using C# and Visual Basic.
• Implement and maintain Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, including solution testing and ongoing maintenance.
4. API and Integration Development:
• Design, develop, test, and integrate APIs to enhance ECM solution functionality and ensure seamless interoperability.
• Ensure ECM solutions support integration with external systems and applications as needed.
5. Project Management and Lifecycle Oversight:
• Manage the full project lifecycle for ECM projects, including design, development, testing, and implementation of business applications.
• Lead moderate to highly complex projects, contributing to project planning, timelines, and effective configuration management.
