Job Description
The Commissary Support Director is responsible for commissary program execution. The manager leads the Commissary Support Managers to partner with region operational teams to provide new business, retention, marketing and base-business growth support for commissary programs across the LOB. This position is responsible for communicating the scalable, repeatable business model that is utilized throughout the business with a focus on growing sales and profits across the Aramark Correctional Services (ACS) portfolio. A successful manager will have the ability to foster strong partnerships with the Regional Operational Teams, District Managers, RVP, RFD, and customers. The manager will work with marketing & operational channel leads to leverage business-wide processes, capabilities, and relationships to accelerate efficient performance across all corrections locations. This role provides support to assigned accounts in the implementation and improvement of programs, standards, and processes to ensure consistency of Aramark’s retail operating processes from one facility to the next.Job Responsibilities• Assist in the development of LOB, region, and district commissary new business, retention, sales and profit growth targets.• Drive and track base business growth initiatives through a defined retail/sales/marketing executional framework.• Guide menu pricing strategies across LOB commissary portfolio.• Scale retail and marketing processes for a repeatable commissary business model.• Drive consumer participation in commissary & iCare sales across the LOB.• Work with cross-functional teams on operational excellence improvement initiatives.• Project management duties for assigned projects.• Train and inspire the field operations teams to ensure compliance to programs and processes.• RFP sales support (to include menu design & COGS development) for commissary new business and retention pursuits.• Design & develop initiatives & action plans to improve financial & KPI target results.• Partner with the Region, DM and operational team to execute priority commissary business imperatives.• Use operational expertise to implement new and existing commissary systems and technologies.• Utilize technical expertise to evaluate commissary program standards, measure performance and recommend solutions in order to enhance or improve operations.• Assist in the implementQualifications• A bachelor’s degree.• Minimum of 3 – 5 years operations management experience, preferably in a corrections commissary operations environment.• Position requires ~70% travel to various locations across the country.• Proven ability to influence leadership at the executive level.• Demonstrated ability to focus & manage multiple priorities.• Very strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.• Must have experience or a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment within a heavily matrixed organization.• Strong communication skills combined with a commitment and proven ability to succeed within a fast-paced organization.• Excellent verbal, presentation, written and interpersonal communication skills with strong Microsoft Office Skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)• Ability to influence without formal authority.ation and facilitation of programmatic training programs for commissary frontline managers and employees.EducationAbout AramarkOur MissionRooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.At Aramark, we believe that every employee should enjoy equal employment opportunity and be free to participate in all aspects of the company.
