Slalom Los Angeles is looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our Technology Enablement to lead the discovery and delivery of modern cloud solutions, strategies, migrations, and applications to world’s heavyweight brands. As a member of the team, you will design and architect cloud-based solutions for infrastructure, platform, and software needs of our clients. We're seeking self-motivated individuals with expertise in Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon Web Services to solve business problems that have real-world impact. The role entails leading solutioning and implementation technology projects, managing project teams, building client relationships, and defining project delivery roadmaps.


What You’ll Do

  • Understanding the emerging architectural patterns and applying them to the business problem to drive technical solutions
  • Rolling up your sleeves and taking ownership of solving client’s business problem, working side-by-side with the stakeholders, connecting the dots between the business processes, technologies, and people
  • Taking a new idea or a new technology from a concept and seeing it all the way through to measurable business outcomes
  • Knowing when to lead, when to guide, and when to support.
  • Building consensus among a diverse set of client stakeholders by developing solution alternatives, eliciting feedback, and refining
  • Ongoing research and assessment of new analysis approaches for potential use within the Enterprise
  • Work with highly skilled Slalom team members to design and develop state-of-the-art solutions and offerings (accelerators)
  • Design, document, and develop reference architectures and reference implementations
  • Define, implement, and execute processes to design and build modern cloud-native solutions in alignment with the client’s architectural tenets
  • Establish contacts within business units and information system programs to understand business activities and business drivers, business requirements, solutions strategies, alternatives, etc., being considered and/or implemented.


What You’ll Bring

  • Drive a technology strategy and roadmap at the enterprise level that aligns with our customers' objectives across various industries in the Los Angeles market, including but not limited to finance, gaming, media and entertainment, and the public sector.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in designing and implementing solutions across key areas, such as technology consulting, technology strategy, cloud platforms, application development, enterprise infrastructure and networking, data and security, and DevOps.
  • Exhibit a proven ability to manage complex projects with budgets of $3 million or more while strategically approaching business and technology challenges, and driving sales through tasks such as creating proposals, providing cost estimates, determining deal pricing, and leading contract negotiations.
  • Display proficiency in stakeholder engagement and the ability to build consensus by modeling technical solutions, documenting trade-off analysis, and presenting in large/diverse group settings
  • Hold a professional-level certification and hands-on practical experience utilizing the latest technologies to drive solutions, including but not limited to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $153,000 to $237,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for annual and quarterly discretionary bonuses. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
