Your role:

Gooten is looking for a business development superstar to join our Enterprise Growth team. The successful candidate will have strong ties and experience in the print on demand and merchandise space with a concentrated focus on apparel. We are looking for deep connections with licensors, licensees, decorators, merchandisers and manufacturers. You will be a driver within our small but mighty business as we power enterprise solutions that the market is demanding and Gooten is providing. You will be working directly with our EVP of Enterprise Growth and other Gooten senior management on a broad range of opportunities and well defined OKRs to generate new business and lead them into a steady state of revenue growth

How you'll power eCommerce:

  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
  • Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Work with the Gooten team to develop proposals that speak to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service.
  • Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

You should have:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in a revenue-producing role
  • Proven success in originating, closing, and growing deals & partnerships with eCommerce businesses, merchandisers, and retailers in a transaction-based sales model (not SaaS) ranging in size from $1-$5mm to $35mm+ in annual GMV
  • Experience working with large global enterprises and navigating a sales process through multiple layers of leadership / complex organizational structures
  • Strong analytical and communications skills – able to develop discussions and quickly determine which partners are long-term strategic options and identify which aren't
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to develop & deliver compelling sales pitches, presentations and product demonstrations to a broad range of audiences, from C-level executives to individual contributors
  • Ability to travel frequently for client visits and to attend industry events and tradeshows
