Our Benefits Specialists play an integral role in the administration of our health and welfare benefits for more than 60,000 employees across North America. We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented team member who is excited to work collaboratively with vendors, HR partners, and other members of the Corporate Benefits Department to provide employees with a comprehensive total rewards program. Your role will facilitate the delivery of comprehensive benefits that enhance employee wellness and satisfaction.Skills• Results-oriented mindset• Strong customer service orientation• Detail-oriented approach• Excellent communication skills• Effective planning and organizing abilities• Analytical thinking• Team collaboration skillsResponsibilities• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with U.S. and Canadian benefit vendors• Analyze key metrics and trends to develop strategies to optimize plan performance and utilization• Collaborate with communications specialists to promote benefit plans and employee wellness• Serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact for assigned benefit plans and advise HR partners on administrative and policy questions• Research, analyze, and respond to administrative appeals• Facilitate and review requests for proposals (RFPs); review and negotiate contracts and renewals with benefit vendors and monitor vendor performance to ensure contractual obligations are met• Assist in the development and annual review of benefit materials including summary plan descriptions, enrollment guides, new hire communications, and process documents• Monitor state and federal regulations and guidance relevant to plan complianceQualificationsMinimum:• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree• Must have 5 or more years’ experience managing Health and Welfare benefits for corporations with 1,000+ employees• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futurePreferred:• Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) DesignationEducation Requirements• Bachelor’s Degree in a related fieldEducation Requirements Credential Category• Bachelor’s DegreeExperience Requirements• 5+ years managing Health and Welfare benefits for large corporationsWhy work in St. Louis, MOSt. Louis offers a vibrant culture, rich history, and a strong sense of community, making it an appealing place to live and work.
