Enterprise Risk Management Analyst

Job Summary and Opportunity:
Role entails effective collaboration, oversight, and visibility across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
  • Support and drive the Bank’s enterprise risk management program development and execution, emphasizing RCSA quality assessment of bank operations, KRI development and tracking, issues management, and loss events oversight and reporting, and third-party risk management
  • Advance program requirements within the Bank's GRC Risk System – RSA Archer
  • Work regularly with the business units to ensure the integrity of inventoried risks, controls, KRIs, issues (updates and remediation plans), and loss events; ensure complete and accurate data is maintained to enable relevant tracking and risk reporting
  • Drive enhancements to overall enterprise risk management processes, including a variety of bank-wide governance activities, senior management and board committee reporting, and regular engagement with business unit leadership
  • Credibly challenge business unit assessments of their risk and control environment, and oversight of critical third parties. Provide clearly articulated written and verbal points of view
  • Provide effective liaison between third parties and business units, as needed
  • Maintain and continuously improve department policies and procedures
  • Support other areas of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team, as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years banking industry experience
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to identify risks, derive sound conclusions, and formulate constructive arguments
  • Ability to manage multiple and/or shifting priorities, and produce accurate work product, under time constraints
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong listening and good debate skills
  • Good computer skills including all MS Office systems
