The Role:

As a Federal Account Executive, you have experience selling to senior executives, heads of
departments, technical architects and government systems integrators. Creative,
energetic and a self-starter, you understand the sales process, how to sell innovation
and disruption through customer vision expansion. You can drive deals forward and
compress decision cycles. If you’re a high achiever, we want to talk to you. We’re looking
for a track record of proven sales success with many years of experience selling to the
government.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and develop a sales pipeline in the
    federal government sector
  • Close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
  • Build strong and effective customer relationships, resulting in successful
    projects and satisfied customers.
  • Work closely with other teams to include Professional Services, Training
    and Enablement to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Qualify inbound leads representing key stakeholders, CIOs, CTOs, IT
    Directors, IT architects and consultants from various organizations.
  • Document sales opportunity and account details including use case,
    purchase timeframes, etc., and forecast using the Neo4j crm system.

Relevant Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of sales experience is preferred. This is a senior level sales position.
  • Passion to sell and excellent people skills
  • Over-achiever with the ‘can do’ attitude
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Ability to work independently, self-directed and remotely in a cross
    functional organization
  • Some travel, but mostly limited to the Washington DC metropolitan area
