Our Endosomal Escape Vehicle (EEV™)-therapeutics are designed to enable the efficient intracellular delivery of a wide range of therapeutics into a variety of organs and tissues, resulting in an improved therapeutic index. Through this proprietary, versatile and modular approach, Entrada is advancing a robust development portfolio of RNA-, antibody- and enzyme-based programs for the potential treatment of neuromuscular, ocular, metabolic and immunological diseases, among others.

Our lead oligonucleotide programs are in development for the potential treatment of people living with Duchenne who are exon 44, 45 and 50 skipping amenable. We have also partnered to develop a clinical-stage program, VX-670, for myotonic dystrophy type 1.

The Opportunity

Entrada’s Summer Internship Program will run from June 10^th – August 16^th, 2024. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow technically and broaden capabilities while contributing to improving the lives of patients and their families. You will benefit from working side by side with a high performing finance team. This will be a split role where 1/2 of your internship will be spent reporting to the accounting team and 1/2 of your internship will be spent reporting to the FP&A team to provide an overall finance experience.

Responsibilities

Accounting:

Participate in month-close activities for the financial statement close process.
Gain exposure to public company SOX environment through control testing.
Identify process efficiencies for newly implemented systems and procedures in the purchasing process.
Help with public company external reporting through peer company disclosure analysis.

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for key stakeholders (i.e. Budget Variance Analysis).
Provide maintenance support for the FP&A reporting system including reviewing hierarchy structures, PO details, and vendor lists.
Create process user guides.
Work on ad hoc requests (e.g. General Ledger Account deep dives, Industry comparison analysis, Open purchase order reviews, etc).

Pursuing a BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience using Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively across functions.
