Principal Insurance Account Manager

Entrata, a leading software provider in the property management industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Insurance Account Manager. This role involves managing and growing a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring exceptional service and strategic support to our clients. In addition to supporting key clients, this role will be pivotal to the overall operation of the insurance suite, participating in product development, sales and marketing. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the insurance and/or multifamily industry, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in account management. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within assigned accounts
  • Proactively identify and address customer needs, providing tailored solutions and strategic guidance
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Product, Support) to ensure seamless customer experience and drive revenue growth
  • Lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring timely and successful execution
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends
  • Ensure continuous improvement of skills and professional development across the various roles in the department
  • Act as a direct liaison between the Insurance suite and other departments
  • Work with sales during pre-sales engagements to assist with RFPs, scoping, and deal desk opportunities
  • Continually raise the bar in terms of time to value, customer readiness, productivity and satisfaction for customers and team members.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in account management within insurance, multifamily or related field
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and services.
  • Strong knowledge of multifamily operations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing key accounts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Entrata software.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Google Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates advanced, wide-ranging experience, including a depth and breadth of knowledge of own discipline, external industry, and company objectives.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
