Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for an Entry level Warehouse Specialist based out of Albany, GA.
Responsibilities:

Assist Warehouse Specialist with all assigned Capital/Expense warehouse related activities on the site.
- The Entry Level Warehouse Specialist must always communicate with Construction Management personnel and Plant personnel in a professional manner. This position is responsible for representing Wood as a dependable and qualified organization. All aspects of daily interactions shall be indicative of his or her dedication to safety, quality, integrity and customer satisfaction.

Coordinate the planned and preventative maintenance of Building 85 equipment including but not limited to golf carts, forklifts, lift pods, Broderson crane, generators, and the bus. Ensure that forklift equipment is taken to the tractor shop as scheduled to keep up with planned preventative maintenance.

Track P&G materials and equipment such as magazine stands, marker boards, pod lifts, fall protection equipment, generators, barricades, forklifts & scaffolding. Tracking of items will require filling out logs, delivering material to desired locations, keeping track of condition of materials and inspecting and reporting any damages that are discovered upon return receipt. The Warehouse Specialist will also facilitate contractors in filling out the P&G Facilities/Equipment Form.

Work directly with Wood CM or P&G project personnel to schedule incoming material and equipment. Ensure space is available for storage and a logistics plan is developed for all capital equipment and material.

Education: High School Diploma.-
Some Microsoft Office use

Minimum of 5 years working in industrial environment.

Some knowledge of Paper Making Industry Safety Requirements.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Stand for long periods and mobile.

Work in extreme temperatures typical of paper making facilities.

Good planning, time management, communications and reporting skills
