Entry NDT Quality Inspector

Trinity Rail is hiring an Entry NDT Quality Inspector at our Jonesboro, AR plant.

As an Entry NDT Quality Inspector at Trinity, you’ll make visual/measured inspection/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determines if product meets all requirements. Complete inspection records and reports and follow appropriate codes and regulations.

Makes visual and measured inspection of products the majority of the time to ensure conformance with standards and determines if product meets all requirements. May inspect incoming materials, outgoing materials, or products or assemblies throughout the manufacturing process. May apply singular or multiple inspection processes using various appropriate NDE methods. Able to maintain, adjust or calibrate inspection equipment. Completes inspection records and reports. Familiar with appropriate codes, regulations, applicable procedures & standards. Follows all safety rules and practices. May be involved in safety committees or CI initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. For new hires previous work experience and/or certifications may be considered for the corresponding job level position

• Basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected.

• Ability to achieve appropriate NDE certifications within 6 months.

• Under supervision of a Level II or III Certified NDT Inspector
