Software Engineering Lead will implement software features for Enverus Inc. Assist in setting the company's technical direction, writing maintainable code, working in a professional software engineering environment in a team setting, and working on such aspects as source control, shortened release cycles, and continuous integration and deployment. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve services and applications. Identify areas of tactical technical debt, perform the cost/benefit analysis for resolving this debt, and work with the management team to prioritize. Mentor engineers to facilitate good architecture and solution designs based on modern software development patterns and practices. Serve as a technical design expert, designated as a point of contact for more difficult problems, and designing, developing, and delivering services and web applications as needed. Apply expertise to assess and determine pragmatic solutions to complicated issues, and facilitate the development and maintenance of good software architecture and solutions based on modern software development patterns and practices. Utilize the Scrum and Kanban methodologies inherent in an Agile development environment, following industry standards, and writing testable code with an emphasis on unit testing, clean coding, and the value of Agile development. Utilize expertise in programming with JavaScript, and build and utilize RESTful Application Program Interfaces. Confer with systems analysts and other software engineers/developers to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Develop and oversee software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Provide feedback on career growth and areas of improvement for engineers. Full time. Minimum Requirements (years of education and experience):
Three (3) years of experience in software development as a software engineer, software developer (or a related occupation) building web applications using modern development tools, libraries, and frameworks.
