Manager, Service - Advisor

Envestnet is seeking a passionate and talented Manager, Service – Advisor to join our Service team. This is a hybrid role, with in-office work required at either our Raleigh, NC or Berwyn, PA office locations.

Job Summary:

The Manager, Service - Advisor will support our Advisor Service Associates to service our Financial Advisors and other users of the Envestnet Advisor Portal. This individual will develop staff, handle escalations and ensure the team is best positioned to provide excellent service to our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consultation and support to financial advisors through inbound calls and web trainings, educating them on the benefits and functions of platform capabilities, increasing platform usage and advisor efficiency.
  • Partner with team members to ensure high quality customer service when responding to client calls & emails within stated SLAs.
  • Responsible for training the team to respond to advisor questions and troubleshoot the Envestnet platform.
  • Identify operational issues and implement improvements.
  • Provide learning and coaching opportunities for team members through monthly meetings and call reviews.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert both internally and externally on platform functionality.
  • Answer team member questions regarding best practices and complex issues.
  • Serve as an escalation point for sensitive issues.
  • Communicate updates to the team.
  • Join monthly calls with our top firms.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. 
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in the financial services area in a client facing role.
  • Exemplary leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable operating in tight deadlines with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complicated situations and determine the best course of action.
  • Commitment to maintain professional demeanor and courtesy.
  • Willing to build relationships and work both individually and in a collaborative approach.
  • Well-developed organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years in a supervisory experience leading a team.
